Kopano Nokeng Weddings
We will be blogging a few Kopano Nokeng weddings over the next few months, and we’d like to kick it off with the amazing couple that is Mathilda and Jaco. We just love the randomness of weddings and how you can always plan, but never predict exactly what will happen on a wedding day (like the weather for example, but more about this later). We love how Mathilda & Jaco just don’t take things too seriously, how happy they make each other and the people around them, and the fact that they just enjoyed their wedding day, regardless of the fact that it POURED down with rain when we had to do their couple portraits. And they weren’t fazed by this at all. Just as well. Because when we went out there, armed with umbrellas and groomsmen as shields against the rain, we were lucky to not see one, but TWO rainbows. Yes, two rainbows, at the same time, on the same day. A DOUBLE rainbow! And when Mathilda picked up her dress before the wedding, the designer told her that if her dress wasn’t dirty at the end of the day, it meant that they didn’t have a good time. Well, when looking at her dress towards the end of the night (see the photo of her dancing with her dad), it would be safe to say, judging on just that, that they had an AWESOME day. Oh, and they had the best choreographed first dance we had ever seen! Mathilda & Jaco, thank you so much for allowing us to photograph your wedding. It was just perfect in every sense of the word and we feel so honoured that you chose us. May all your dreams come true and may you continue to always be the amazing couple that you are! Together you’ll go further…
