Ilanga Estate Wedding Photos

We were so excited to capture Thato & Avela’s Ilanga Estate wedding photos and being part of their special day! Ilanga Estate is a very popular wedding chapel and reception venue in Bloemfontein, and was the perfect backdrop for this amazing couple’s beautiful wedding.

Thato and Avela are some of the kindest people we’ve had the pleasure of working with. They have such a genuine friendship, deep love and admiration for each other – something remarkable to photograph. And to top all of this, their wedding was so much fun!

When we asked Thato about some advice for future brides, she suggests for brides to appoint a wedding coordinator, just to help ease some of the wedding strain. And to also choose a very involved support group, your A-team, your wedding party! One of the most important things to remember when organizing a wedding, is to make sure that your guests will be comfortable, and that they end up enjoying a good time and having a lot of fun! After all, your wedding will most probably be the biggest (and most expensive) party you’ll ever throw for your closest friends and family! So, you have to make it one to remember.

One of the highlights of this wedding was the open-air dance floor where the couple had their first dance together as husband and wife under the stars! And a last tip from the bride: “Wedding days are great. Enjoy every minute of it and SMILE always!”
