Free State farm engagement shoot

When we started talking about ideas as to where to do Wilnica & Hennie’s engagement shoot, they instantly knew that they wanted to have their shoot on Hennie’s farm. With a Free State farm engagement shoot, it is always great to include the surroundings that are important to the couple, so we ended up shooting around the areas on the farm that they really love and where they like to hang out most – and it was awesome!

Everything about their Free State farm engagement shoot was completely personalised (even the dogs joined in), and for us, it was a really great adventure and something a little different to the usual kind of shoots we do in and around the city! Our favourite images are the ones taken on the riverbed during the golden hour, and of course the sunset shots that we got just when it started turning dark. Who doesn’t love a sunset shot?!

We’re very excited to share these Free State farm engagement shoot images with you and we’re really looking forward to Wilnica & Hennie’s big day next weekend! This time it will be on Wilnica’s family farm in the eastern Karoo region of South Africa – we can’t wait!
